RB Leipzig boss Marco Rose has revealed what Xavi Simons told him about his future amid links to Manchester United.
Two new faces have already been added to the Reds squad this summer, with Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro now United players. However, the Old Trafford has been linked with several other players from across Europe.
And reports in recent days have claimed that United are ready to make a move to sign Simons this summer. The playmaker recently helped the Netherlands reach the semi-final of Euro 2024 and is currently enjoying a break.
Simons spent last season on loan at Leipzig from parent club Paris Saint-Germain, which came after he returned to the Ligue 1 outfit after leaving PSV Eindhoven. The 21-year-old will return to PSG this summer, but there continues to be speculation that he could be on the move once again, with United reportedly interested.
