The highly sought-after prospect from Oscar Smith High School in Virginia is ranked as the No. 167 player nationally and the eighth-best in the state, according to 247Sports.
For Johnson, Virginia Tech presents a unique opportunity—remaining close to home while playing for a program eager to elevate its offensive firepower. The Hokies are the only in-state school in his top choices, giving them a significant edge in their pursuit.
