In an exciting turn of events, the Virginia Tech Hokies have once again bolstered their offensive line, securing yet another transfer from West Virginia. This time, it’s offensive lineman Gavin Crawford, who is making the move to Blacksburg, marking the Hokies’ fourth addition from WVU in recent months.
Crawford’s commitment comes just one day after the Hokies added defensive tackle Kody Huisman from North Dakota State, signaling a concerted effort by head coach Brent Pry and offensive line coach Matt Moore to fortify the trenches ahead of the 2025 season. A 2025 recruit, Crawford spent the spring semester in Morgantown and now looks to make his mark with Virginia Tech.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing in at 300 pounds, Crawford brings with him a solid foundation as a three-star recruit from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School in Olney, Maryland.
