Sue Bird, former Seattle Storm player, called tennis legend Serena Williams a ‘troll’ for her cameo performance in rapper Kendrick Lamar’s half-time show in Super Bowl LIX last Sunday. In a recent episode of her podcast ‘A Touch More’ which she co-hosts along with her partner Megan Rapinoe, Bird spoke about Lamar’s performance, especially referring to his diss track directly aimed at rapper Drake.
While the Drake trolling was certainly entertaining for Bird and Rapinoe, Bird went on to call Williams’ appearance in the performance the greatest troll of all. Rapper Drake and Serena Williams were apparently entwined in a romance back in 2011. However, neither of them officially confirmed their relationship. After Williams married Alexis Ohanian, who is the co-founder of Reddit, Drake has mentioned her in a number of his songs.
