The Toronto Blue Jays’ offer to Juan Soto has reportedly been leaked, revealing it to be significantly larger than anticipated, showcasing the team’s strong interest in securing the star player

The Toronto Blue Jays ended up missing out on Juan Soto as he signed a historic deal with the New York Mets but the Blue Jays offer has finally been leaked.

Juan Soto ended up signing a 15 year deal worth $765 million with the New York Mets which is the largest contract in MLB and Sports history as it also included a $75 million signing bonus.

The Blue Jays final offer to Juan Soto has finally been leaked

The Blue Jays ended up falling short once again in back to back years as they did last year when going after Shohei Ohtani but the good news this year is that the fan base did not believe that they had a chance in landing Soto.

Unfortunately for the Blue Jays this pretty much means that Soto had more faith in the Mets plan moving forward than the Blue Jays since it was surely not the $5 million that made a difference.

The Blue Jays now have to look at other options for offense as their lineup desperately needs another hitter to pair with Vladimir Guerrero Jr as he cannot win them games by himself.

Blue Jays manager John Schneider even stated that the team needs to find some offense this winter to help out Guerrero and did state that the team is far from done this off-season which is encouraging.
