It could be yet another busy week for Arsenal on and off the pitch as Mikel Arteta’s squad continue preparations for the 2024/25 season.
The Gunners welcome Bayer Leverkusen to Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening before entertaining Lyon in the Emirates Cup on Sunday. It is Arteta’s last two opportunities to tinker with his squad before their Premier League campaign kicks off against Wolves on Saturday, August 17.
While plenty is happening on the pitch, it is just as busy away from it as Edu is working overtime to complete deals before the August 30 summer transfer window deadline. David Raya and Riccardo Calafiori have been the only major additions so far this summer but that is likely to change in the coming weeks.
