Over the past week, Man Utd have been linked with a number of right-backs to potentially sign as an upgrade on Aaron Wan-Bissaka and the latest name to join the list seems to be Bayer Leverkusen defender Jeremie Frimpong.
We covered a story revealing that Noussair Mazraoui’s agents were pushing him towards signing for Man Utd after it emerged that Dumfries is close to extending his Inter Milan contract until 2028. Now, it looks like Frimpong is the next name.
The Bundesliga winner has been linked with the Red Devils for quite some time now. Whilst Diogo Dalot is a very good player and should continue for the club, there are a lot of deficiencies in Wan-Bissaka’s game that often affect Erik ten Hag’s plans.
As per Spanish publication, Fichajes, Man Utd have now been offered the chance to sign Frimpong. The Dutch defender was one of the best players in Europe last season not just in his position but in general but struggled to break into Ronald Koeman’s plans in the Euros 2024.
