Former Manchester United coach Eric Ramsay has described Erik ten Hag as ‘really impressive’ but has no regrets over taking his first job in management with Minnesota.
Ramsay was appointed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the summer of 2021. The young coach was brought to United to ‘work one-on-one with individual players’ and ‘take ownership over training on the side’s set-plays’ but gradually took on more responsibility at Carrington.
Erik ten Hag retained Ramsay after he arrived from Ajax and the Welshman graduated to become a first-team coach, which saw him oversee the bulk of first-team training sessions.
