Arsenal will find it difficult to land top targets Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres in their search for a new striker, sources have told Football Insider.
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (13 August) that the Gunners swooping for a forward in the final weeks of the summer transfer window “can’t be ruled out”.

The funds from those deals could allow Arsenal to move for a new forward – with Mikel Arteta and his transfer chiefs assessing their current options as well as available players across Europe.
Arsenal have held a long-term interest in Napoli star Osimhen and Sporting CP hitman Gyokeres, but neither player is likely to be an affordable target for the Londoners.
Osimhen has scored an impressive 76 goals in 133 appearances since joining Napoli in 2020, establishing himself as one of the world’s leading strikers.
He has been linked with free-spending duo Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Gyokeres is new to the European stage but hit 43 goals in 50 games for Sporting in the 2023-24 campaign.
