OFFICIAL: Barcelona confirm Dani Olmo and Pau Victor finally registered with La Liga

Barcelona have finally registered Dani Olmo and Pau Victor with La Liga after being granted temporary permission following an appeal to the Consejo Superior de Deportes (CSD).

The two players are now showing on La Liga’s website once again and are available to play in Barcelona’s next match. The Catalans are in action again at the weekend in the final of the Spanish Super Cup against either Real Mallorca or Real Madrid.

Barcelona have also confirmed the news in a statement on the club’s official website:

“Good news for FC Barcelona. Dani Olmo and Pau Víctor have been registered for the League. This means that the two Barça players are available to Hansi Flick to play in the Spanish Super Cup final on Sunday, January 12.

“On Wednesday, January 8, the Superior Sports Council ( CSD ) issued a precautionary order allowing Olmo and Pau Víctor to play. And, this Thursday, January 9, the two Barça players are now registered in the League. This allows them to wear the shirt again. It should be remembered that Barça has the Super Cup final scheduled for this Sunday.”

The saga is still yet to be finally resolved, however, with a final resolution due by April 7 at the latest.
