NFL fans complain about Netflix’s coverage after streaming issues during Katie Taylor’s fight

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes

Sports fans were angry about Netflix’s coverage of the NFL match between Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day.

The match at Acrisure Stadium was the first to be streamed on Netflix as Patrick Mahomes inspired the Chiefs to a 29-10 victory.

But many fans complained of issues with the streaming service’s coverage. Things got off to a bad start when host Kay Adams’ introduction was inaudible for the first 20 seconds and the change of the broadcast.

“Netflix now takes the crown for worst platform to host an NFL game,” one social media user complained.

Another person commented, “Netflix is really going to make us all hate the NFL by the end of this day, aren’t they?”

However, the streaming service was able to iron out some of its early issues, and many complimented its coverage.

It comes as Netflix drew anger from boxing fans for streaming issues during Katie Taylor’s fight with Amanda Serrano.

Many fans complained of buffering issues and the picture freezing during the fighters’ epic rematch in Texas.
