Declan Rice scored inside the first three minutes after he was set up by Kai Havertz to half-volley the opener past Ivan Nevistic. Arsenal had some more opportunities to score, with Rice missing a massive chance from an Ethan Nwaneri cross, but Havertz made it two after heading in from a Gabriel Martinelli cross.
