Transfer deadline day this January window is now one week away, leaving Arsenal with little time to conduct whatever business they desire.
As of yet the Gunners are yet to announce any deals, whether that be incomings or outgoings, though it is the former that has had the most emphasis during the recent weeks of active business.
Injuries have left an attacking department already lacking inspiration with few options remaining. Since, Mikel Arteta has been outspoken about internal discussions to change this.
One unspoken option up until now is the prodigy Mathys Tel of Bayern Munich. The teenager is understudy to Harry Kane and therefore lacks minutes and tentative talk online has linked the Gunners with a move for him again having been a reported target a year ago.
Before the summer 2024 transfer window opened, Tel’s agent, Gadiri Camara, commented on the possibility of the 19-year-old leaving Bayern Munich for a new challenge.
Most recently, Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund commented on Tel’s future. He did so under the pressure of Chelsea’s recent interest in the Frenchman.
