The long-time Saints CB was known for his rivalry with Evans. When it came to production and performance, Lattimore consistently dominated the Bucs WR. It wasn’t even a debate during his days in New Orleans.
The two had a fierce, energetic battle twice annually, leading to multiple fines and suspensions over the years when they played in the NFC South together. Now, Evans has grabbed an upper hand since Lattimore joined the Commanders.
Lattimore has missed most of the games since he was traded due to his hamstring injury, and this latest performance against a receiver he used to dominate with the Saints makes New Orleans look especially smart for trading him when they did.
