Outgoings are taking centre stage right now with an eye on the August 30 deadline. Academy graduate Will Fish has agreed a move to Championship side Cardiff City as United continue to trim down their first-team squad with Scott McTominay also thought to be attracting interest – both at home and abroad.
United have signed Noussair Mazraoui, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt and Joshua Zirkzee so far this summer. In their ongoing search for another midfielder – with PSG’s Manuel Ugarte and Sander Berge on radar – player sales will be needed in the first instance to make sure there are enough funds in the budget for a fifth marquee arrival.
Uruguay winger Facundo Pellistri is also being inked in for a departure. He’s expected to leave before the deadline after spending time away from Old Trafford, previously, via three separate loan spells.
