Man United ‘eye transfer raid’ for Jose Mourinho’s Turkey star as Casemiro exit talk grows

Manchester United are continuing to look increasingly proactive buyers in an already competitive summer transfer window.

Joshua Zirkzee looks set to join on a permanent deal from Bologna, with further transfer negotiations for Jarrad Branthwaite, Matthijs De Ligt and Leny Yoro all ongoing. INEOS is certainly wasting no time in getting to work with plenty of players linked with a switch to Old Trafford this summer.

Success in the FA Cup means United have UEFA Europa League football to look forward to this coming season, and adding to their first-team squad looks to be a priority as manager Erik ten Hag prepares for his third season at the helm.

United have been closely watching the summer progress made by Turkey midfielder Ferdi Kadioglu. The talented 24-year-old impressed heavily at Euro 2024 and the Reds are reportedly leading the chase for the Fenerbahce star’s signature.

Able to operate at full-back, in midfield and as a winger, his versatility could come in handy should United opt to pounce over the next two months. However, new Fener coach Jose Mourinho will likely be reluctant to lose a key player to his former employers.
