Man United double transfer ‘medical’ planned as Bruno Fernandes agreement claim made

Manchester United are expected to have a busy end to the summer transfer window. Erik ten Hag is keen to add three to four more players through the door as they bid to have a successful season.

The Reds completed their first signing of the summer in the form of Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for around £36.5million last month. This was before Leny Yoro arrived from Lille in a deal worth £58.9m. Since then, United have not signed anyone but they are determined to get more bodies over the line.

Elsewhere, United suffered defeat to Manchester City in the Community Shield on Saturday. The Red Devils thought they had won it after Alejandro Garnacho gave them the lead in the 82nd minute, only for Bernardo Silva to level for City to take the game to penalties. And after a topsy-turvy shootout, Manuel Akanji scored the decisive take to win the game for City in the season curtain-raiser.
