Man City plan to unleash secret weapon to hijack dream £100m Arsenal transfer

Manchester City are prepared to use two highly-rated youngsters as ‘bargaining chips’ in their proposed move for Arsenal-linked Newcastle United star Bruno Guimaraes this summer. That’s according to reports from The Mirror as speculation over the 26-cap Brazil international continues to mount.

Rico Lewis or Oscar Bobb are namedropped as the two players star-studded City are willing to sacrifice. However, the Premier League champions would only sanction a season-long loan departure for them as Lewis and Bobb are viewed in-house by Pep Guardiola as first-team regulars in the making.

Newcastle are said to want £100million for Guimaraes if they are forced to cash in on their 26-year-old playmaker. City, though, only value him at around £80million.
