While most of the media attention last week was focused on the blockbuster trade that sent Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, with Anthony Davis heading the other way, there were a few significant deals that flew under the radar.
One of them was the arrival of the first pick from the 2014 NBA Draft, Andrew Wiggins, to the Miami Heat, while the team from South Beach finally put an end to the “drama” with Jimmy Butler heading to the Bay Area to join Steph Curry and the crew in another title hunt. Although Butler holds a higher place in the NBA hierarchy, compared to the Canadian forward due to his elite two-way skills and mentality, some, like Kevin Garnett, view “Wiggs’” arrival as a win for the Heat culture.
