New Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has provided an insight into the style of play which he intends to employ across his time with the club.
The name of tactician Flick has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the day to date.
This comes after the German was at last officially unveiled as the latest installation on the bench at the aforementioned Barcelona.
Flick has put pen to paper on terms with the Blaugrana through the summer of 2026, replacing the dismissed Xavi.
Speaking for the first time on the back of his appointment being confirmed on Wednesday, the former Bayern Munich boss, in turn, was drawn on a whole host of topics during an interview with the club’s social media team.
And one such subject has since turned heads across the Barca fanbase.
This comes with Flick having confirmed his attack-minded, possession-based plans at the Camp Nou:
“My style of play? I like to have possession of the ball and an offensive way. These are the aspects that I like and we are going to work for it.”
