Gabriel Jesus has sent a three-word message to Ilkay Gundogan with his future at Barcelona significantly up in the air fresh off already making a huge decision. The former Manchester City midfielder opted for a move to Spain in the summer of 2023 over signing a contract extension at Etihad Stadium, but he could now be returning to the Premier League.
Despite having only played one campaign for the Catalan club, Gundogan is open to leaving with Pep Guardiola reflecting that stance. Contact has since been made with Gundogan’s camp by his former team and a big decision clearly awaits the 33-year-old.
Alongside that, he has already confirmed a significant decision with a lengthy statement released announcing his decision to retire from international football.
