The Arsenal squad have arrived in the United States as Mikel Arteta ramps up pre-season plans ahead of the 2024/25 season.
The Gunners will play Bournemouth, Manchester United and Liverpool during their time Stateside, with the squad touching down in Los Angeles on Sunday. A mixture of experienced first team stars and youngsters have made the trip while Gabriel Magalhaes, Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz will join up from Thursday.
While the players and coaching staff are working hard on the training pitches in between pre-season friendlies, sporting director Edu is busy behind the scenes trying to improve Arteta’s squad for the new campaign. David Raya has already been signed from Brentford in a deal worth £27million following his successful loan spell last season, while 18-year-old goalkeeper Tommy Setford joined the Gunners from Ajax on Sunday in a deal worth just under £1million.
