Everton were well beaten on the road yesterday as they suffered a 4-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Everton put in a pitiful display and remain just two points above the relegation zone heading into the busy festive period.
Dwight McNeil was seen laughing with Marcus Rashford and that left supporters absolutely furious, as they witnessed their side fail to score for the fourth consecutive game.
There were a number of woeful performances across the board with Vitaly Mykolenko not having his best game by any means.
Man United fans no longer want Jarrad Branthwaite after his error-littered display, so clearly there’s plenty to correct ahead of Wednesday’s clash against Wolves.
McNeil revealed before the United clash that Dyche called for a meeting and what they discussed is at least a step in the right direction.
Dwight McNeil reveals what Dyche said in recent meeting
Ahead of the debacle at Old Trafford, Dwight McNeil revealed that Dyche has been urging his team to improve going forward.
“We had a meeting this week on how we can turn the draws into wins, and for us, we know where we need to improve and that’s going forward.”
That clearly wasn’t on display against United but clearly, it’s a positive that Dyche accepts that his side haven’t been up to par going forward.
Perhaps he’ll change the system on Wednesday to shape up in a more attacking way.
