Matteo Guendouzi spent a controversial four years in North London after Unai Emery purchased the midfielder for £7million, but the Frenchman was still influential in one part of Arsenal’s recent transfer business.
After Mikel Arteta implemented a ‘three strike system’ at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, Guendouzi was the first man to aggravate the Spaniard after being shirtless at a formal event and refusing to apologise after a public argument with Sokratis Papastathopoulos in a Dubai winter camp.

However, after bidding a regrettable farewell to North London, as he now resides in Italy, playing for Serie A side Lazio, the 25 year-old has been involved in his former side’s recent transfer business.
