Capping a season during which some might argue the things that have gone right are ultimately fools’s gold – at least in comparison to the Eagles, who featured Saquon Barkley rushing for 167 yards to top the 2,000-yard mark on the season, backup quarterbacks Kenny Pickett and Tanner McKee both filling in for the injured Jalen Hurts and looking superior to Dallas, and the 13-3 Eagles clinching the NFC East title.
“Nobody plans to lose,” Prescott said, speaking out honestly on this lost season. “Nobody plans to have a losing season. You expect playoffs every year. You expect to win this division. … It sucks. It’s frustrating.”
“Gained some strength in it, started to use it a little bit,” he said. “Yeah, I’m probably a few weeks maybe a month from running running. But got on the bike. So definitely doing some things, moving more.”
