The Dallas Cowboys have only five wins this season. Three of them, however, came in marquee “stand alone” games where they attracted the eyes of the rest of the NFL.
After the home victory over the New York Giants on Thanksgiving, the Cowboys improved to 3-2 in “prime time” games, coupled with earlier wins over the Giants on a Thursday night and the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. They also lost similarly featured games at the San Francisco 49ers and against the Houston Texans.
