Bukayo Saka has joined an elite group of Premier League icons after playing a pivotal role in Arsenal’s 2-0 win against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday. The victory, secured by goals from Leandro Trossard and Thomas Partey, maintained the Gunners’ perfect start to the season.
Saka’s participation in the match marked a significant milestone in his career, as it was his 100th Premier League victory in just 171 appearances for Arsenal. This achievement makes Saka only the fourth player in Premier League history to reach 100 wins before turning 23.
He joins an exclusive club that includes Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas, and current Manchester City star Phil Foden.
The young winger, who turns 23 on September 5, has been a key figure for Arsenal since making his first-team debut in 2018. Over his 228 appearances, Saka has scored 59 goals and provided 54 assists, establishing himself as a cornerstone of Mikel Arteta’s side.
