Bid made: Arsenal has officially tabled a €20 million offer aimed at acquiring a versatile wide player…

Arsenal has proposed a €20 million transfer fee for the signing of a versatile wide player.

The Gunners have made a €20 million bid to secure the transfer of a versatile wide-man.

Arsenal is reportedly pursuing Fenerbahce full-back Ferdi Kadioglu with a €20 million bid, competing with Borussia Dortmund for his signature.

Both clubs have submitted offers of €20 million to Fenerbahce, but they have been informed that enhanced bids nearing €35 million will be necessary, as reported by the Turkish outlet Nutuk.

It remains uncertain whether Arsenal will revise their offer for Kadioglu, a player they have been interested in for a considerable period. His versatility makes him an appealing option for the Gunners.

The Turkey international is capable of playing as a left-back, right-back, or winger, making him a valuable addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad for the demanding season ahead.

According to previous reports, CaughtOffside has indicated that Brighton is also considering making an offer to acquire Kadioglu, who has attracted the attention of several clubs in England and across Europe for an extended period.

Arsenal has already bolstered their left-back position by signing Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna this summer, making it seem less necessary to invest heavily in another player for a similar role.

If Kadioglu were to be available for around €20 million, it could be a worthwhile investment for Arsenal; however, any price above that might be regarded as excessive.

It will be intriguing to observe whether Dortmund makes another attempt or if other clubs solidify their interest in the 24-year-old.
