Kim Min-Jae has ruled out a move away from Bayern Munich this summer, admitting he has his sights set on a successful career at the Allianz Arena.
The 27-year-old defender, previously linked with a move to Manchester United, endured a disappointing debut season at Bayern Munich following his move from Serie A champions Napoli last summer. United have also been linked with the South Korea international’s team-mate Matthijs de Ligt.
However, Min-Jae has insisted he is focused on the season ahead with the German side and has no desire to quit the club so soon after arriving.
“I haven’t thought for a second about leaving this great club,” said the defender ahead of a friendly against Tottenham Hotspur in South Korea on Saturday. “My goal is to help the team as much as possible, work hard, and improve.”
