Arsenal star Declan Rice makes feelings clear with cheeky reaction to Liverpool draw at Everton

Declan Rice made his feelings clear with his reaction to Liverpool’s dramatic 2-2 draw against Everton on Wednesday. Arne Slot’s Reds missed the chance to move nine points clear of second-place Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table after James Tarkowski’s 98th-minute equaliser earned the home side a draw.

In the final-ever Merseyside derby at Goodison Park, Everton started on top and took the lead less than a quarter of an hour in. A smart free-kick from Jarrad Branthwaite set Beto through on goal and the forward kept his cool to slide the ball past Alisson in the Liverpool net.

However, Liverpool responded fast and equalised in the 16th minute. Mohamed Salah’s in-swinging cross was nodded into the far corner by Alexis Mac Allister.

Just as it looked like Liverpool were sailing nine ahead of Arsenal in the title race, Everton had the last laugh and secured a dramatic draw. Tarkowski lashed home in stoppage-time to earn the Toffees a point – and delight thousands of Arsenal supporters across London and the world.

It wasn’t just the Gunners fans who had a keen interest on the result, however, as midfielder Rice appeared to show his true feelings on Everton’s last-gasp leveller. The 26-year-old liked Everton’s Instagram post that updated supporters on the late, late strike from England international Tarkowski.
