Jamal Musiala’s future at Bayern Munich is attracting significant interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester City. The German international’s current contract at the Allianz Arena is set to expire in 2026, and negotiations over a new deal have yet to result in an agreement.

This uncertainty has caught the attention of elite clubs across Europe, with reports from Fichajes suggesting that Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, and Arsenal are preparing to compete for Musiala’s signature.

Bayern Munich, aware of the growing interest, could consider selling the 21-year-old midfielder next summer if a new deal cannot be agreed upon, rather than risk losing him for free in 2026.

Bayern’s priority remains to secure Musiala on a long-term contract, as the Bundesliga champions view the young star as a key figure in their future.

Since making his debut in 2020, Musiala has been a standout performer for the Bavarian giants, racking up an impressive 166 appearances at such a young age. His talent and potential make him one of the most sought-after midfielders in world football.

Any club that succeeds in signing Musiala would secure a major coup, as the versatile midfielder has the ability to transform a team’s midfield. Whether Bayern manages to extend his contract or another European heavyweight swoops in, Musiala is set to be a hot topic in the transfer market over the next two years.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, speaking to CaughtOffside, provided the latest update on the situation. “Bayern are making Musiala’s contract a top priority. They want him to stay long-term, but for now, no decision has been made. It’s still an ongoing negotiation,” Romano explained. “Bayern are confident, but they can’t afford to fail in this mission.”

Bayern Munich’s history of keeping the best German talent in their squad underscores the importance of securing Musiala’s future. Allowing the young star to leave for England or Spain would be seen as a significant failure for the club, especially given the interest from Premier League and La Liga giants.
