Arsenal enter another Premier League and Champions League campaign this season and there is good news for those hoping for boosts to the club’s transfer plans. There is always an emphasis on whether the club can do deals for players dependent upon spaces in the squad.

Arsenal will have to name a 25-man squad for the league for this forthcoming season. Within that, they can register no more than 17 non-homegrown players plus the remainder of the squad. Any players under the age of 21 do not need to be named on this list, which is a benefit to Arteta considering the expectation of some youth players making a breakthrough this season.
