Arsenal have made two first-team arrivals in the summer transfer window. David Raya made his loan move permanent in a £27million switch from Brentford, while Riccardo Calafiori has joined from Bologna for around £42m. Tommy Setford has also signed from Ajax for £1m, but he is expected to be used in the Under 21s this season.
As for those heading out of the doors, Fulham completed the signing of Emile Smith Rowe from Arsenal for £27m plus £7m in add-ons on Friday. The 24-year-old leaves the Emirates after falling the down the pecking order, having started just three Premier League matches across the whole of last term.
The Gunners are expected to do more business before the end of the window, meanwhile. A couple of more new faces are set to come through the door, with Mikel Arteta targeting a new central midfielder and another forward. Elsewhere, there could be more players set to leave the club.
