Arsenal next five Premier League fixtures compared to Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea

Arsenal kept their impressive momentum going with a 2-0 win over Manchester United in Premier League action. Jurrien Timber grabbed the opening goal from a corner with William Saliba then netting a second from another set-piece after Thomas Partey’s header back across the box.

The Gunners controlled the first half but could not find a way through a resolute United defence. Andre Onana and his defenders had dealt with a number of dangerous corners, but that changed early into the second period when Timber glanced home an in swinging delivery from Declan Rice.

Saliba then scored a second from another corner with Arsenal seeing out the result to pick up another clean sheet. Elsewhere, Chelsea and Manchester City also secured wins but league leaders Liverpool were forced to settle for a point against Newcastle despite twice coming from behind.
