PSG have reportedly hit two stumbling blocks in their pursuit of Victor Oshimen giving both Arsenal and Chelsea fresh hope of completing a deal.
Napoli’s Nigerian centre-forward is expected to depart the Serie A club this summer with president Aurelio De Laurentiis already insisting Osimhen’s time is set to come to an end. The Gunners and the Blues have both been heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old as they try to strengthen their forward lines.
Mikel Arteta’s side did not struggle in front of goal last season but it is believed the Spaniard wishes to add a proven goalscorer into his team to help Kai Havertz. Meanwhile, at Stamford Bridge, the jury is still out on Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Maresca is thought to be willing to add a striker to his ranks.
Both London clubs looked like they had lost ground in their race to bring Osimhen to the Premier League when PSG opened talks with Napoli. However, according to Fabrizio Romano, the French giants have hit a couple of stumbling blocks.
