One of European football’s most recognisable clubs has on Sunday been tipped to launch a surprise swoop for Barcelona star Vitor Roque.
The outfit in question? Juventus.
Serie A heavyweights Juventus are set to be under new management next season, having opted to part ways with Massimiliano Allegri, in favour of Thiago Motta.
And Motta, it is understood, is eager to shake up the Bianconeri’s frontline over the months ahead.
On the way out are expected to be the likes of Moise Kean, and Arek Milik.
And front and centre on the list of replacements written up by the soon-to-be unveiled Juve tactician, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (cited by Mundo Deportivo), comes the aforementioned Vitor Roque.
Frontman Roque, of course, has long seen his Barcelona future up in the air, albeit with the Brazilian expected to be afforded the opportunity to prove himself to new boss Hansi Flick in pre-season.
Should the 19-year-old fail to do so, however, Juventus have joined the likes of Porto and Atlético Madrid in readying an assault on Roque’s signature.
