Alcaraz Falls to Djokovic in Second Training Session in Australia

After his first encounter on Monday at the Rod Laver Arena, where he practiced alongside Giovanni Perricard, Carlos Alcaraz trained on Tuesday at the central court of Melbourne Park with Novak Djokovic, who is currently preparing with Andy Murray for the first Grand Slam of the season.

This marked the fifth occasion that Alcaraz and the Serbian tennis star have trained together ahead of a tournament. Their last encounter was at the 2023 ATP Finals in Turin, and prior to that, they had met at the Mutua Madrid Open, Roland Garros, and Paris-Bercy.

In an intense training session from both players, it was Djokovic, in his first session in Australia alongside Murray—his new coach for the season—who came out on top with a score of 7-5, thanks to a more effective serve in the crucial moments.
