Brighton vs Manchester United highlights and reaction, as Utd lose in injury time

Manchester United lost their first away game of the season, going down 2-1 at Brighton.

Former United striker Danny Welbeck put the hosts 1-0 before Amad equalised on the hour. Alejandro Garnacho seemed to put United 2-1 up but his goal was ruled out for offside. Then Pedro headed home unmarked in the 94th minute to win it for the Seagulls

That will be a frustrating one for Erik ten Hag in the United changing room.

United could have won it in the second half and will feel they didn’t deserve to come away from the Amex with nothing.

However, did they do enough, lacking a real killer edge in the final third.

FULL TIME: Brighton 2-1 Manchester United

Pedro’s 94th minute winner inflicts yet another defeat for United at the Amex, which means we still have not had a draw between these clubs in the top flight.

United can feel unlucky, had Garnacho’s goal counted you feel they would have gone on to see a win through.

But it was not meant to be. Brighton go top of the league, as United have one win and one defeat at the start of the season
