Arsenal made a loose approach for Napoli superstar Victor Osimhen this summer. That’s according to reports from Sky Germany, via Florian Plettenberg on social media, amid ongoing speculation over the in-demand Nigerian who also has Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain monitoring his situation.
Osimhen, 25, is hot-property across Europe this summer. However, there will be a premium to pay for his signature as the striker is thought to have a £110million release clause.
Of course, there’s chance a lesser fee could be agreed if Napoli opt to cash-in. Arsenal, Chelsea and PSG have long-since been linked with a move for the former Wolfsburg and Lille man, while the main obstacle standing in the way for the two London clubs is a heavy-handed approach from big-spending PSG.
