Arsenal have less than three weeks left until the end of the summer transfer window but there’s still plenty of time for Mikel Arteta to add to his ranks ahead of a third successive challenge for the Premier League title.
This weekend’s season opener against Wolves is likely to bring around the competitive debut of left-back Riccardo Calafiori after the star’s £42m move from Bologna this summer, along with goalkeeper David Raya’s permanent move from Brentford. With the defensive line having some depth added, it’s the other two thirds of the pitch that Arteta and Edu will be eyeing up for upgrades.
