Arsenal told to make perfect signing who would complement Viktor Gyokeres immediately

Arsenal target Victor Gyokeres could be perfectly paired with compatriot Newcastle ace Alexander Isak should he move to the Emirates.

The two Swedes are familiar with each other and have both been linked with Mikel Arteta’s side during this window as the north London club desperately searches for an out-and-out number nine.
Goalscoring hasn’t been an issue for Mikel Arteta’s men, but with their Premier League hopes dashed by Pep Guardiola’s brilliant Manchester City two years on the bounce, the squad need to reach another level if they wish to beat them to the title.
The only position in Arteta’s team that could be improved is at striker. Gyokeres could be the man to fire Arsenal into title contention. And, should funding allow it, then a further move for Isak would all but guarantee a title gong, according to former Liverpool man Jermaine Pennant.
Speaking to Coin Poker, Pennant said: “Alexander Isak would be a perfect signing for Arsenal or Liverpool. He’s got that stature of a big nine, which is great to have. He can finish, which we’ve seen at Newcastle.
“I think he would be an amazing signing,” added Pennant. “I think he would take Liverpool or Arsenal to the next step by winning the Premier League.”

Newcastle’s Swedish ace was originally linked with Arteta’s side when the Magpies needed to recoup funds amid PSR worries, but with the books balanced, he is now priced too highly.
Therefore, Gyokeres may seem the more likely target. Sporting CP have recently paid Coventry City to reduce the sell-on clause present in their striker’s current deal, indicating a fear that his £84m release clause will be met.
The Sporting man’s £84m asking price and Isak’s £100m-topping fee mean that signing both Swedish marksmen will probably remain a pipe dream. Yet, securing just one of their signatures could be revolutionary – and Gyokeres seems the most feasible.
Isak netted 21 Premier League goals last year
Funds will have to be gathered should either striker be bought, regardless. Gabriel Jesus has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia for a reported £60m, and if Emile Smith Rowe’s £27m move to Fulham goes through, Arsenal could have the means to put themselves in the best stead they’ve ever been for a title fight.
