Arsenal face a busy few weeks on and off the pitch ahead of the new Premier League season. The Gunners are currently in the United States for their pre-season tour across the Atlantic.
Mikel Arteta’s side will face Liverpool on Wednesday night in Philadelphia in their next friendly fixture, days after beating Manchester United 2-1 in their previous friendly. This week also saw Arsenal complete their fourth signing of the summer with Riccardo Calafiori arriving on a long-term deal after leaving Bologna.
Viktor Gyokeres boost
Arsenal have been handed a boost in their transfer pursuit of Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres.
The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the Sweden international this summer. Gyokeres is reported to have an £86 million release clause in his contract with Sporting.
