After a 1-0 win against Cadiz in La Liga, Barcelona are preparing to host PSG in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final. The Spanish giant showcased good fighting spirit to win the first tie 3-2 after being 2-1 down at a point in time.
With a goal lead and the support of the home crowd, Barcelona will aim to overpower the French side at home. However, it won’t be easy as PSG will go all out and try to involve Kylian Mbappe more in the attacks. Whatever happens, a competitive game is on reserve for the fans.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup Vs PSG
Defence
Marc-Andre ter Stegen played an important in the first leg by sending long balls when the opponents were pressing high. He will be once again lined up between the sticks and is set to play a key role. Jules Kounde was rested against Cadiz, clearly indicating his starting role at the right-back.
There is no reason to alter the centre-back duo of Pau Cubarsi and Ronald Araujo. Both the defenders did clean work to keep PSG in check. Joao Cancelo has been impressive and will once again don the same left full-back role.
Midfield
Both Andreas Christensen and Sergi Roberto are suspended for the second leg. It means Frenkie de Jong should be playing a deep role to control the tempo of the game. Pedri and Ilkay Gundogan are likely to be the other two midfielders in the lineup. These two will operate higher on the pitch to create chances.
Attack
Expect Raphinha, who scored a brace in the first leg, to continue on the left wing. Young Lamine Yamal showed great temperament and is set to earn yet another start on the right flank. Robert Lewandowski remains the undisputed striker of the side.
Joao Felix and Ferran Torres should be coming off the bench in the latter half.
