As reported by the club’s official website, goalkeeper Alexei Rojas has signed his first contract with Arsenal after returning from the international duty with Colombia U20s.
A shot-stopper with impressive reflexes and good distribution, Rojas trained with the Arsenal first-team when he was a schoolboy.
Now aged 18, Rojas gained experience in the UEFA Youth League last season and also made his Premier League 2 debut for the U21s against Southampton.
There is much competition for places in the goalkeeping department at U21 level, with Lucas Nygaard having joined the club, while Brian Okonkwo also recently signed professional terms.
