Manchester United are keen on signing LOSC Lille defender Leny Yoro this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the player is on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool as well. The Italian journalist has revealed to Give Me Sport that the 18-year-old French defender is a ‘dream target’ for Manchester United this summer.
It will be interesting to see if the Red Devils can get the deal done. Romano adds that the defender is waiting for a move to Real Madrid and the Spanish giants will be his top priority if they come calling.
Yoro has established himself as one of the finest young defenders in Ligue 1 and he could be a key player for Manchester United. He could be the ideal replacement for Raphael Varane, who left the club earlier this summer. He would help the Red Devils stay organised at the back.
Meanwhile, Liverpool are seeking defensive reinforcements as well after the departure of Joel Matip. It remains to be seen whether they can beat the likes of PSG, Manchester United and Real Madrid to Yoro’s signature.
Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world and they could provide the 18-year-old with the platform to push for trophies. They have a proven track record when it comes to nurturing young players and the Frenchman is likely to improve with a move to Old Trafford as well.
It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Manchester United and Liverpool will certainly hope that Real Madrid do not come in for the player this summer. It would increase their chances of landing the Frenchman.
