Barcelona’s Andreas Christensen sets impressive record for Denmark against Slovenia at Euro 2024

Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen set an impressive new record at Euro 2024 on Sunday during Denmark’s 1-1 draw with Slovenia.

Christian Eriksen’s first-half goal looked set to give the Danes the win until Erik Janza’s deflected late strike saw the game end 1-1.

Yet Christensen ended the match with a new record after finishing the draw with a 100 per cent pass accuracy rate.

The Barcelona star completed all 89 of his passes in the game to set a new landmark that may just take some beating.

There’s no doubt it’s impressive stuff by the Barcelona star who was back in defence for Denmark after spending a fair chunk of last season in midfield for his club side.

It’s also good to see Christensen back in action and in form, as the Dane has been troubled by an Achilles problem recently that has seem him used cautiously by club and country at times.
