Jules Kounde says he’s one of the leaders in the dressing room at Barcelona and has become a key player for the Catalans.
The France international signed from Sevilla in 2022 and has been a regular ever since, playing both at center-back and at right-back.
Kounde says he’s now one of the leaders at the club and can be relied on by Barca.
Kounde also says he’s looking forward to facing France team-mate Kylian Mbappe next season when Barcelona take on Real Madrid.
Mbappe has swapped Paris Saint-Germain for Madrid this summer and will come up against Barcelona next season in La Liga.
Mbappe and Kounde are part of a France team strongly tipped to win Euro 2024 this summer in Germany. They kick off their campaign against Austria on Monday, June 17.
