Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has been quizzed about his comments on Ronald Araujo in a new interview while on international duty.
Gundogan was critical of Araujo after the team’s Champions League exit with comments that did not go down well with his team-mate.
The Germany international has been asked again about what he said and offered up the following response.
Gundogan was also asked how important the coach is to the success of any team and was happy to put a number on it.
We’ve seen this season that Gundogan is not afraid to speak his mind. He also spoke out after the Clasico defeat to Real Madrid and admitted he wished his team-mates had shown more frustration and disappointment.
