Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing Borja Mayoral from Getafe if Vitor Roque decides to leave the club this summer.
The Brazilian’s future was plunged into doubt after Xavi essentially admitted he could go out on loan. Vitor Roque’s agent hit back quickly and hinted at a permanent summer exit.
It’s still not clear whether Vitor Roque will stay or not, but Diario AS report that Barcelona will go for Mayoral if the Brazilian does move on.
Mayoral is coming off an impressive season for Getafe where he scored 15 goals in 27 outings for Jose Bordalas’ side.
He has a contract with the club that runs until 2027 but is thought to be interested in a move to Barcelona should the Catalans come calling.
Vitor Roque has been linked with a move to Valencia, although he may well be hoping for a second chance under new manager Hansi Flick.
