Arsenal are prepared to push for the signing of Fenerbahce defender Ferdi Kadioglu, according to Turkish outlet Star Gazetesi.
The Gunners have been constantly linked with the Turkey international over the past month and a recent report claimed that there is an agreement over personal terms.
Star Gazetesi now reveal that Mikel Arteta’s side are ‘prepared to push’ with a formal offer to sign him.
Fenerbahce recently appointed Jose Mourinho as their new manager and the Portuguese tactician appears keen on keeping hold of the versatile full-back.
The Istanbul outfit are still open to the idea of parting ways with the 24-year-old. It is claimed that a fee in the region of £26 million could persuade them to sanction his sale.

The north London giants have identified Kadioglu as an ideal candidate to bolster the left-back position.
He has generally operated as a right-footed left-back and has caught the eye with his all-round attributes.
Kadioglu has a good passing range and likes to dribble past his opponents. He also has the ability to invert into midfield to provide line-breaking passes in the final third.
He has likewise been strong defensively when it comes to his tackling, duel winning ability and clearances. Kadioglu has averaged almost seven ball recoveries per appearance.
At £26m, he could prove a bargain signing for the Gunners, but the big question is whether Fenerbahce will grant his departure after the appointment of Mourinho as manager.
The 61-year-old could ask Fenerbahce’s hierarchy to keep hold of key players. He could prove a stumbling block towards Arsenal securing a deal for Kadioglu this summer.
